Hector and the Orchestra is a concept for a children’s book centered around a young boy who works as an usher for the Philadelphia Orchestra. The book would feature various scenes from my own experience working at the Kimmel Center, as well as my explorations in visualizing classical music. In order to reinforce the connection between my four spreads and my subject of the Orchestra, I used the four movements of a classical symphony as a loose framework for my illustrations.
